Ultrasonic Cleaning using Flammable Solvent Beaker Kits
Ultrasonic cleaning small parts using flammable solvents can be accomplished when special precautions are carefully observed. Beakers are filled with flammable solvent and positioned in a water-filled ultrasonic cleaner. Small parts can be cleaned inside the covered beakers which are partially immersed in water. The ultrasonic waves pass through the beaker walls and into the solvent. This operation should be carried out with sufficient ventilation to prevent solvent vapor accumulation, such as inside a fume hood.
The FS EP10 KIT includes two 600 mL beakers. The inside working dimensions of the beakers are: 3.1” diameter x 4.3” height.
